If you’re reading this, you’ve likely come here in pursuit of one thing: understanding if it’s possible to improve upon the current standard of care and survive cancer. We often place this pursuit on such a high pedestal that it seems unattainable. We’re all waiting for the extraordinary discovery that will announce the long-awaited ‘cure for cancer.’ Until then, we must confront our mortality and accept the odds of survival. After all, even the most advanced and prestigious institutions in the world still have much to learn about cancer, its causes beyond genetics, and the unfortunate role of bad luck. This is the prevailing vision of cancer today.
However, many of you might envision a different perspective on cancer. Perhaps you wonder if there’s a reason why cancer and other chronic diseases are skyrocketing in our modern times. And if there’s a reason, then maybe, there’s more that can be done to address the root cause when it’s most needed. Perhaps you’ve heard stories of individuals who have beaten their odds and are curious about how they did it. To those readers, yes, you’ve come to the right place! And to those who are skeptical, you are also in the right place. We are eternal skeptics ourselves, as skepticism is the very nature of science and the pursuit of truth. It is our deepest passion to explore with you a new vision of what cancer could be.
In this series, we will introduce you to the Four Pillars of Transformation. We’ve developed these pillars as a foundational framework to open you up to all the extraordinary ways you can take control of your health. Some people may react negatively when you mention “healing” in relation to cancer. It’s almost become taboo to discuss. However, we are not here to make promises. Our experience has taught us that being overly attached to expectations can actually distance us from what we truly desire. Instead, we want to focus on the positive intentions behind your efforts to care for yourself because, despite the circumstances, there is much to feel good about.
Throughout the history of cancer, countless individuals have experienced what Kelly Turner describes in her book ‘Radical Remission’ as ‘spontaneous healings.’ This term mischaracterizes their reality because there is nothing spontaneous about these healings. These individuals intentionally engaged with a variety of ‘alternative’ healing modalities to achieve outcomes deemed highly improbable by modern medical standards.
The actual number of these cases is unknown, and unfortunately, doctors do not routinely document ‘spontaneous remissions.’ In fact, when patients achieve incredible results, their doctors often prefer not to hear about it—especially if these patients do not return to their original oncologists after experiencing significant improvements.
Yet, these occurrences are frequent enough to merit consideration. If we allowed ourselves to examine these cases more openly and frequently, we wouldn’t regard them as anomalies anymore. More people might start to believe in their own power to shift their health, even in the worst circumstances.”
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.” - Rumi
When it comes to known cancer statistics, it’s important to realize that they reflect the standard of care, where patients continue living their lives more or less the same as they did before their diagnosis. But once you start making additional changes to your health above and beyond the standard, you are no longer the average. You are now N=1: a fresh start with a new vision that understands the common factors that led to other people’s “radical remissions”. It turns out there is a lot to take away from studying these cases, and we’re here to help share that knowledge with anybody who has the desire to learn more.
At this point you probably have a lot of questions about the Fundamentals of Health as they relate to cancer: diet & nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration, sunlight, mental/emotional/spiritual health, stress, detoxing, cancer specific strategies, therapies, supplements, herbs, etc. Thankfully, The Inner Compass program covers all of this information in detail in our cancer coaching program.
But before we start delving into the specifics of what to do, we begin by establishing our core Four Pillars of Transformation. We know from experience that there is a big gap between knowing and doing, and if you do not address this gap as step 1, the information will not necessarily result in a transformation of health. The greatest quality of those who are able to achieve a radical remission is not so much what they do; it’s their mindset/attitude. And in order to help prepare your mind to adopt these changes in a sustainable way, we introduce to you the four pillars:
Vision, Belief, Empowerment, Commitment.
We will briefly describe each here, but please click into each pillar for an in-depth look of what it is and why it matters.
If the goal is to go above and beyond the standard of care, the current vision of what cancer is and what is possible needs to be revised. Your vision determines your belief in what you are doing. If that vision creates a weak, fear-based intention from the start, you will not have sufficient energy to sustain your efforts in making significant changes to your life routine. So we start by sharing a new vision of what is possible based on the countless others who have already won their “war on cancer”.
Knowledge on how cancer works and how to nourish and heal the body is empowerment. Western medicine does not deal with how to nourish and heal the body because it is focused on a symptom level using drugs and surgery as ways to kill the cancer cells. In Eastern medicine, it is believed that the best outcome is achieved when you treat the symptoms and the root causes simultaneously. And when it comes to root causes of cancer, there is a lot to talk about. Afterall, cancer did not exist 100 years ago at nearly the rates we’re seeing today, so there is a reason for it. Understanding the root causes and what to do about them is the master key.
The general consensus in the Western world is that there is nothing more you can do for your cancer beyond the bounds of the standard of care (surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy). So when you decide to take control of your own health, you are going to be met with resistance from many people, including yourself. Despite this, your belief needs to be stronger than the resistance; not so much because you’re unwilling to die, but because you humbly accept the areas of your life that need improving and you know you deserve your own loving intention and self-care in a time of most need. That belief is enough to reclaim your sovereign right to take control of your own health.
Extraordinary results are only possible in the presence of extraordinary action.. and that requires much needed energy we need to liberate. It’s not about doing everything perfectly. Different people are able to heal doing different things, so there is no “one way”. However, at some point there is no escaping making significant changes to your diet, lifestyle and long-held beliefs about yourself, others and the world around you. But when you have the right vision, a strong belief, empowerment through knowledge, and liberated lifeforce energy, making a sustainable commitment to doing whatever is necessary for your health is no longer effortful.
With a deep understanding and integration of these four pillars, you will realize that you never had to do any of the things suggested for optimal health.. you get to. Will power, brute force, and self-flagellation are no longer your seat of change. It’s now a personal choice guided by the inner compass that is your loving heart. That’s the difference we aim to inspire in you. And from this place, we can begin our work together. Welcome to The Inner Compass Cancer Foundation.
